Hyper Disaster is a danger mode in Survive The Disasters 2. It is a harder version of its standard counterpart, usually incorporating new and unique effects; for example, once a Hyper X-Bomb explodes, its lasers will move clockwise, a behavior not found in the standard X-Bomb. This forces players to adopt new strategies to survive.

There is roughly a 40% chance of a Hyper Disaster occurring as a result of a Warning. Players will receive x1.5 of the standard disaster coins if they survive.

In Hardcore Mode, all standard disasters are replaced by their hyper counterpart. As a result, all hyper disasters are replaced by their impossible counterpart.

Hyper Explosive Noobs Moderate The noobs do not beep, so you don't know when they explode. They also have increased blast radius and health.
Hyper Bombers Moderate Bombs themselves are recolored red to signal this change. It explodes multiple times after landing, creating a cluster bomb effect.
Hyper Pacman Moderate Pacman is about triple his normal size. This allows him to completely consume larger buildings like towers. He can target corners more often.
Hyper Missile Strike Moderate The missile travels twice as fast and has a slightly larger blast radius.
Hyper Flash Flood Easy The flood reaches twice as high at a faster rate.
Hyper Sighters Very easy Sighters now shoot in turns, result in a slightly faster overall fire rate.
Hyper Ghosts Easy Higher health and damage. They also become invisible more often.
Hyper Tsunami Moderate The tsunami no longer decreases in height the further it travels. Height is increased.
Hyper X-Bomb Very difficult Lasers move in a clockwise motion after the X-Bomb explodes.
Hyper Reaper Insanely difficult The Reaper can launch three slashes from his scythe, which kill instantly upon impact. Also launches red, slower, larger fireballs that deal 20 damage if you are close enough to it. If you come in contact to the fireballs, you will be killed instantly. The Reaper can also summon a shield that reflects damage back to players, launch a large number of pillars before hurling them at players and spikes which direct to any players. The spikes can also go through buildings and indestructible objects.
Hyper Rocket Noobs Moderate Receives a force field and two rocket launchers instead of one.
Hyper Spiked Walls Moderate There are four walls instead of two, and they meet at the center. Similar to the "walls closing in" disaster from Survive The Disasters 1. They also move faster.
Hyper Noobs Easy Their speed, jump power, health and damage are all doubled.
Hyper Nuclear Bomb Easy The red dot signaling the location of the nuke is smaller. The nuke explosion has a significantly larger blast radius and is dropped faster.
Hyper Time Bombs Moderate Bombs become cube-shaped, so they can bounce around easier. Their fuse time is decreased and their blast radius is increased.
Hyper Illumina Moderate Transforms into the Illumina Man, an NPC that will explode on touch. He will follow the nearest player. If a player has not touched him, he will explode on his own at the last second. Illumina Man has bloxxer points and is kill-able, but it is hard to kill him since it has a lot of health.
Hyper Zerg Lurker Moderate Attacks at a much quicker rate and has a wider range/bigger spikes. Still can't hit airborne players/players on buildings.
Hyper Rising Lava Easy The lava arrives faster. Its appearance is changed, appearing darker and having a faint red glow. It burns down parts quicker.
Hyper Missile Launcher Difficult In addition to its normal shooting, it can now shoot rockets into the sky which can home onto players. The bullets and missile launcher itself are larger.
Hyper Tiny Noobs Moderate Double damage, jumps higher and higher movespeed. They are also harder to hit now.
Hyper Epic Duck Moderate The Epic Duck, now called the Evil Duck, is given a more demonic appearance. It deals twice as much damage and moves faster.
Hyper Shurikens Easy Projectiles are replaced with larger Electric Ninja Stars. They rain down more frequently, with a higher chance that one will target players.
Hyper Get Down Moderate The kill brick is lower and appears quicker.
Hyper Crimson Balrog Moderate Instead of two Crimson Balrogs, there is only one. Its texture is changed to that of a Geist Balrog (phase 3). Its fireball is now bigger and deals more damage. It can also summon a shield which reduces damage, or a lightning bolt which deals 20-30 damage to all nearby players.
Hyper Volcano Moderate The brick-melting parts are now twice as big. It spews multiple blocks at a time instead of consecutively. The volcano also spews out parts further.
Hyper Giant Noob Moderate The Giant Noob wears a crown. Also receives much higher health and can slam faster. He can also spin in a circle while stomping and send a shockwave while making an explosion. He gets up faster.
Hyper Zombies Moderate Instead of dealing moderate damage, zombies now kill instantly. They move faster, and have a health buff.
Hyper Ninjas Easy Electric Ninja Spawns only. They move faster, jump higher and deal more damage.
Hyper Sandstorm Moderate Tumbleweeds spawn more often. Debris deals damage more frequently. Sandstorm fog is much more intense.
Hyper Coil Noobs Moderate All noobs have upgraded coils instead of regular coils and their health, damage, and speed are also doubled.
Hyper Acid Rain Easy Acid rain lasers rain more frequently and target players more often. Their damage is scaled up to 35.
Hyper Press The Button Extremely difficult The button is randomly placed on one of the nine spawn points instead of the center of the map. However, the kill bricks appear after 5 seconds instead of 1. If not pressed, it will automatically press itself at the last 9 seconds of the round.
Hyper Slenderman Moderate Deals higher damage and has a larger damage radius.
Hyper Raining Tacos Very easy Tacos rain with various sizes instead of one consistent size.
Hyper Alien Invasion Moderate Aliens move faster and shoot more frequently. They deal 18 damage per hit, and they tend to move rather than staying at one place.
Hyper Polyhex Moderate The explosions of the bombs are larger. In addition, four smaller bombs will be thrown out after the bomb explodes.
Hyper Soccer Balls Easy Soccer balls rain with various sizes instead of one consistent size. They are bouncier.
Hyper Alexnewtron Moderate Throws Yoshi Eggs instead of Dodgeballs. These can trap players if they are hit, allowing him to stack damage. The base damage is increased, has a HP buff, and moves faster.
Hyper Guest Ambush Difficult Guests move faster and deal higher damage. They also receive the ability to destroy parts in their way of getting to other players.
Hyper Redcliff Warriors Moderate The warriors now summon fireballs instead of lava waves. It deals more damage and is slightly bigger than the lava waves.
Hyper Cake Moderate Instead of 8 slices, the cake is split into 12 slices. They also move faster.
Hyper Neon Blaster Moderate The laser charges up and sweep through the map faster. The laser itself is slightly larger.
Hyper Mine Spawn Moderate Mines have a bigger blast radius.
Hyper Black Mage Very difficult Receives a significant buff of health and damage. It summons fireballs in an X shape which kill instantly upon contact. It can also summon three groups of large fireballs on the ground which also kill instantly upon contact. It can also summon five fireballs at random players which deal 50 damage. Black mist can also be summoned making players screen black and dealing 20 damage instead of 18.
Hyper Murderers Moderate Murderers receive a movement speed, throwing speed and reload speed buff.
Hyper Death Trampoline Easy The trampoline is placed 4 studs above the baseplate and is bouncier.
Hyper Pacman Ghosts Moderate The ghosts move faster than usual.
Hyper Pizza Dude Very difficult Pizza Dude throws pizza slices twice as fast.
Hyper Undyne Difficult Undyne has two upgraded attacks:
  • Spawns 18-21 spears that deals 60 damage around the map, which all target the closest player relative to Undyne.
  • Spawns very large spears at the sides of the map which intersect and deals 80 damage.
Hyper Rising Acid Moderate Acid rises faster leaving acidic parts which deals twice as much as normal damage if touched. Higher chance of destroying bricks.
Hyper Icicles Moderate Icicles rain down faster than normal and tends to aim for players. Damage remains the same.
Hyper Meteors Moderate Meteors fall faster and follow a slanted path instead of completely straight down.
Hyper Nyan Cat Moderate Faster movement speed and is able to cover a larger area of the map, at ~50 studs wide.
Hyper Thieves Very easy Thieves receive a damage and movement speed buff. Also, 6 spawn instead of 4.
Hyper UFO Moderate The UFO is faster than usual.
Hyper Thunderstorm Moderate The bolts strike much rapidly with larger explosions and a higher chance for them to strike on players.
Hyper Tipping Block Moderate Tipping Block moves twice as fast as usual. The indicator signaling where it will move next is harder to see. It still spawns on the same corner as the regular Tipping Block.
Hyper Tornado Easy The tornado is faster and slightly bigger.
Hyper Green Zone Moderate The green zone closes into its spawn point much faster and the safe zone is smaller. Damage taken when outside the safe zone is increased as well.
Hyper Caterdriller Moderate The caterdriller digs up and moves faster than normal and is also colored brown instead of red.
Hyper Killbots Moderate The killbot's fire rates are increased, making them fire more frequently. The blast radius of their missiles are also increased.
Hyper Hot Potato Moderate The potato is much quicker and deals 99 damage and burns parts quicker.
Hyper Mr. Happy Very difficult Mr. Happy attacks and moves much faster, shooting his colored blocks and eye rockets rapidly in random directions or aiming at random players.
Hyper Dynamites Moderate The frequency of dynamites falling from the sky are increased, they explode in 3 seconds instead of 6 seconds and their blast radiuses are increased.
Hyper Avalanche Easy The amount of snowballs that slide down are doubled, and the snowballs come in various sizes instead of just one consistent size.
Hyper Overseer Soldiers Difficult They can slam their axes faster and create 3 explosions instead of 2, the 3rd explosion having a larger blast radius. They also have increased walkspeed and health.
Hyper Lumberjack Moderate Cuts the tree quicker and tree is thicker.
Hyper Yojimbo Extremely difficult Now known as Masamune, he still has standard attacks yet their made deadlier and are now in a red fashion. His wave attack still deals 80 damage but is executed quicker and reached further distances, his kunais will now explode after 1-1.5 seconds, and his slash attack is executed quicker. In Hardcore mode, after 50 seconds, he will start dashing through spawn points 3-5 times and quicker yet still does 80 damage.
Hyper Wolven Footsoldier Moderate Now known as the Dark Wolvens, they get a new darker appearance and their slashes are now red in color. They dash quicker, attack faster and deal more damage.

Musical Themes



  • All Hyper Disasters of the extreme difficulty may require a speed-enhancing gear to survive.
  • In Version 1.21, when Hyper Epic Duck occurred, it showed the splash for Hyper Barrier Eggman. This was fixed in the following update.
  • In history, only two Hyper Disasters have ever been removed: the Hyper Missile Launcher and Hyper Bombers. However, they both were eventually readded; Missile Launcher in Version 1.31 and the Bombers in Version 1.34. Both of them were re-added with a new appearance.
  • Coin rewards for hyper disasters changed in Version 1.33, as they now reward players with x1.5 the coin payout of their normal variant.
    • However, this seems to be broken as it gives out more than that.
  • Hyper Redcliff Warriors were not added to the index in Version 1.34. Instead, they were added in Version 1.35.
  • Surviving Hyper Reaper will give you a badge, 'A Dance with Death', and killing Hyper Reaper in Hardcore Mode will give you a badge: "Death's Bed".
  • Killing Dark Mage (Hyper Black Mage) will give you a badge: "Witch Hunter".
  • Killing Masamune (Hyper Yojimbo) will give you a badge: "Dishonored".
