Green Hill Zone was a map in Survive The Disasters 2. It was removed in Version 39, as an attempt to minimize copyrighted content in-game.

Key Features
- The classic ROBLOX house.
- A river running through the map, with some bridges along the way.
- Two tower play sets; one large, one small.
- Multiple trees and hills.
- A secret room that hides the Chaos Emerald, a collectible that rewarded players with the Chaos Emerald badge.
- Many rings, which players can pick up to earn the Ring Collector bonus. If they died, all of the rings collected would be dropped.
Trivia
- This map was based on the first level Green Hill Zone] from Sonic the Hedgehog.
- A beta version of this map existed. It was instead named Green Grove, after the first Zone in Sonic 3D Blast
- This old version could also be temporarily seen in the testing servers.
- During the April Fools 2018 event, Green Hill Zone received a mysterious Red ring (which randomly replaced one of the default rings). If a player collected this ring, static would appear on all player's screens for a few seconds. Shortly after, the map switched to a horror-themed version of it, with red and black textures (similar to the sonic.exe creepypasta). Once the static transition was finished, the musical theme changed to either Unknown Artist - Hill Act 1 or Unknown Artist - ... Zone.
- Though, collecting the Red ring would not provide the player any Ring Collector bonus.
- The Red Ring can also replace one of the rings outside the map bounds, making it impossible to collect.
- Once a player was dead, they wouldn't be able to pick up any rings. However, they could still pick up the Red Ring.
- Players could earn a total of 460 by collecting every ring on this map.
- During Version 41, the Halloween 2019 update, Green Hill Zone's halloween theme made a return for a limited time. However, rings, ringboxes, and the chaos emerald were removed.
- During Version 41.5 and Version 41.6, the holiday updates, Green Hill Zone's winter theme was temporarily added. However, just like in its halloween theme, rings, ringboxes, and the chaos emerald were removed.
