Cake is a disaster in Survive The Disasters 2.

Description

A large cake will spawn on a plate near the back part of the map. After a while, it'll then split into 8 cake slices, which will move and chase a random survivor each. They have a long hit range, but are too big to fit in smaller places, so it's recommended to hide in such spots, such as the Gear Shop.

For the hyper counterpart, the Cake will split in 12 pieces instead of the standard 8. They now have a faster walkspeed and may jump more frequently.

Memo Information

  • Standard:

"8 large pieces of cake is ambushing the map! Cake slices are very fast, and deal 22 damage when they come in contact. They have a walkspeed of 28 and have a jump power of 100. They charge at the nearest survivor so staying away from them or hiding under a narrow area where they're too big to reach you would be the best option to survive."

  • Hyper:

"12 large pieces of cake is ambushing the map! Cake slices are very fast, and deal 22 damage when they come in contact. They have a walkspeed of 44 and have a jump power of 100. They charge at the nearest survivor so staying away from them or hiding under a narrow area where they're too big to reach you would be the best option to survive."

Survival Tips

  • Cake is relatively easy to survive if you keep your distance. Use the Lightning Staff and other ranged weapons if you want to kill them for EXP. The hitbox for the Cake is rather small if you feel like killing them, but you must nevertheless keep a distance between yourself and the Cake.
  • You can hide from the cake by going in the hole in the Shop
  • Use an upgraded Speed or Fusion Coil to run from them. Coils that aren't upgraded won't work as they are very fast.
  • The Cake can sometimes stack upon each other, so having any Speed Coil, Fusion Coil, Epic Katana, or Game Master's Sword handy will be useful.

Trivia

  • Cake's hitbox is actually much smaller than it appears; just because you are inside of the cake doesn't mean you are taking damage from the cake.
  • When a Cake slice died, you used to be able to still take damage upon contact with it.
  • Hyper Cake is immune to Doom's Touch, unless weakened.
